We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, record audio, or communicate with us. This includes your email address, voice recordings, and transcription data. We only collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide our services.

Your voice recordings are processed solely to provide transcription and translation services. We do not sell your audio data to third parties. We use state-of-the-art AI models to process your data securely, and audio files are stored with AES-256 encryption.

IdeaWriteAI is committed to compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time through your settings.

We retain your recordings and transcripts as long as your account is active. If you delete a recording, it is moved to the Trash for 30 days before permanent deletion. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently erased within 30 days.

We implement industry-standard security measures, including TLS 1.3 for data in transit and secure object storage via Cloudflare R2 with restricted access policies.
